Who We Are
We connect our community to the knowledge and resources that prevent substance misuse.
JTNN is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) coalition. We bring citizens, schools, agencies, businesses, and government together in Washoe County. Our work is grounded in evidence-based prevention science: programs with measured results, delivered where the community needs them.
Who we help
Prevention serves everyone.
We help students in Washoe County schools and youth serving organizations build the knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions, from social and emotional learning to clear, age appropriate information about substances. We also give parents practical tools, education, and resources to support honest conversations and healthy choices at home. Educators, counselors, employers, and service providers receive training, data, and materials they can use to strengthen prevention efforts in their own work.
Prevention in practice
Education, programs, and resources.
We provide evidence based prevention programs in schools and throughout the community. Through presentations, webinars, and formal training, adults who support young people gain practical tools they can use in their work. Our comprehensive resource directory and ongoing data collection help communities find support, identify where prevention is needed, and measure whether those efforts are making a difference.

Evaluation and Data
Every Program is Measured
We are a coalition that works on substance misuse prevention. We have data going back more than a decade and a plan for the years ahead. We evaluate every program we deliver, and we make the results public.
