Future Leaders in Prevention Scholarship

Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN) is excited to announce the Future Leaders in Prevention Scholarship, designed to support students dedicated to advancing the field of substance misuse prevention and strengthening their communities.

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate strong goal-setting, leadership, and a passion for making a positive impact. Our mission is to recognize and encourage the next generation of prevention professionals by providing both recognition and financial assistance.

Scholarship Details:

  • Award: $2,000 (awarded to 8 students)

  • Application Deadline: Friday, May 16, 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current or enrolling students at the University of Nevada, Reno or Truckee Meadows Community College

  • Applying to programs such as Public Health (preferred), Social Work, Nursing, School Counseling, Psychology, Community Health (preferred), Healthcare, or Addiction Counseling (preferred)

How to Apply:
