JTNN works with coalition partners and hundreds of local youth each year to create artwork that identifies what keeps youth from using drugs - playing a sport or a musical instrument, singing, drawing, having fun with family members, and many other activities. Each year more than 200 youth create images of their “anti-drug” in the form of paintings, photographs and other creative formats.
The 2012 art project is called "What Keeps Me Drug Free?" and encourages youth in Washoe County ages 10-18 to create original artwork to answer the question.
One lucky youth's artwork will be displayed on a billboard in Washoe County.
