Comprised of local business leaders, law enforcement personnel, educators and substance abuse professionals, the Environmental Strategies group meets once a month and is busy planning a number of strategies that are designed to limit access to alcohol by underage youth. Marijuana Initiative Through this initiative, JTNN is working to keep marijuana from becoming a legal drug for recreational use. Currently, plans and strategies are being made to address any future ballot initiatives that are proposing to legalize marijuana as a recreational drug. Meth Community Response Alliance The Meth Community Response Alliance consists of concerned area professionals and residents that are working hard to develop more treatment options for those in need, educate the community about methamphetamine, prevent the initiation of drug use among youth and adults, and enable law enforcement to do the work they need to do in addressing meth in the community.
